Divine Diving: Scuba Diver Training in Malta

Learn to scuba dive in clear waters that surround Malta before completing your conservation project to help protect aquatic life.

  • Complete the PADI Open Water Diver certification and become an ambassador for the underwater world.
  • Learn and practice the diving skills and theory necessary to complete safe and enjoyable dives.
  • Plan and execute your dives with a dive buddy with support from a PADI Professional.
  • Understand how fragile aquatic life is and maintain good buoyancy skills underwater to avoid damage.

The ocean covers 70% of the planet and you can unlock the secrets of this underwater world by learning to scuba dive! All of our trips to Malta are available for scuba divers and those wishing to learn to dive. Before you arrive, you will learn about the theory of diving so that you are ready to learn the physical skills needed for diving in a pool before diving in the ocean.

The dive training will be run by PADI professionals who will work with small groups to ensure that all individuals are confident and competent divers. Once certified, individuals will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres with a dive buddy.

Whilst to be able to dive is a fantastic experience, it is important that the group learn about protecting aquatic life for the future, so individuals will learn excellent buoyancy skills to avoid damaging reefs. Being an Open Water Diver is a prerequisite for the Scientific Sharks research project.
